ACCESSIBILITY

The Cameo Collective is committed to making our programs as welcoming and accessible as possible. We are always happy to work with our patrons to help ensure everyone can enjoy a great experience at the theater. If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us: we’re here to help.

Open Captioning

Open captioning can be requested in advance for any of our regularly scheduled screenings.

If you’d like a specific showtime to be open-captioned, simply call us or email us with the film and showtime you’d like captioned. With at least one day’s notice, we can make this happen.

Hearing Assistance

Our facility is equipped with a hearing assistance system.
Personal headphones are available at the box office for patrons who need them. Just ask our staff when you arrive.

Wheelchair Accessibility & Seating

The Cameo welcomes customers with disabilities and special needs. Our downstairs (Main Auditorium) is wheelchair accessible.

Due to the historic nature of our building and the limited size of our upstairs theater (the Loge, 38 seats), we were neither able nor required to install an elevator. As a result, the Loge is not wheelchair accessible.

That said, we are committed to making every effort to ensure all patrons have the opportunity to see our films. For this reason:

  • Each film is typically released first in our downstairs, accessible auditorium so everyone has a chance to see it there.
  • Patrons are always welcome to call or email our box office to confirm accessibility for a specific screening.
  • On our website, each showtime is labeled with which auditorium it is playing in.
  • With reasonable advance notice, it is often possible to move a screening to the accessible auditorium when scheduling allows.
